Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Department Lead. As a key member of our supermarket team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards in visual presentation and store standards to maximise sales.

You will also play a crucial role in executing promotions and marketing plans, managing inventory, including stocktaking and ordering, and maintaining outstanding customer service standards.

In addition, you will assist with profit and loss management, personnel cost management, safety and compliance management, and accuracy of purchase orders and invoices.

You will work closely with the Assistant Store Manager to lead and provide ongoing support, training, and development for your team, including performance management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • High standards in visual presentation and store standards
  • Strong organisational and merchandising skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
