
NDIS Disability Support Specialist

The NDIS Support Coordinator role presents an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, their families, and communities.
This position offers the autonomy to organize your workday and collaborate closely with participants to promote independence in all aspects of their lives.
Key duties include:
- Establishing strong relationships with participants, their families, and external service providers
- Daily travel to visit participants and facilitate access to necessary services
- Assisting participants in negotiating with providers and understanding the allocation from their NDIS budget
- Working within billable hours and targets, considering the nature of the NDIS industry
- Ensuring service agreements and bookings are completed
- Taking a holistic approach to capacity building and helping participants overcome barriers
Requirements include:
- Right to Work in Australia
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and NDIS Worker's Screening Check/Yellow Card or willingness to gain these clearances
- Willingsness to undertake a "Fit2Work" Police Check
