Job Summary:

Programmed is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join its team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll runs within a medium to large organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and fortnightly payroll runs
  • Process adjustments pertaining to leave accrual, RDOs, termination
  • Attend to payroll queries by internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with preparing weekly payroll reports
  • Investigate time management system discrepancies and/or anomalies
  • Prepare worksheets to support superannuation payments, payroll tax remittances, and Work Cover remuneration statements
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Understand awards and ATO legislation

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing end-to-end payroll runs within a medium to large organization
  • 3+ years of solid experience in payroll locally
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel and numeracy skills
  • Willingness to take initiative and learn
  • Experience in the service industry is an added advantage
