About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Data and Intelligence division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of scope within agreed budgets and timelines. Your strategic guidance will ensure successful delivery of business outcomes, aligning with our priorities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee overall delivery and provide strategic guidance to project and product teams to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes with alignment to priorities.
- Bring thought leadership and have strategic vision and objectives for the delivery team, aligning with Data team goals.
- Shape and lead an automated portfolio ecosystem to maintain accurate and up-to-date consolidated roadmaps, financials, and benefits across Data teams.
- Effectively manage and develop the delivery team, ensuring members understand their work, priorities, and are satisfied with their roles.
- Implement a strategic and scalable delivery framework to ensure faster, better, cost-effective delivery of quality solutions and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide team-wide delivery capability uplift of Data agile values, principles, and practices for the planning and execution of business value.
- Lead the further adoption of an agile mindset by increasing adaptability, transparency, quality, and productivity.
- Stakeholder management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Data.
About You and Your Skills
- Proven years of experience in delivery management of Data and Analytics programs requiring multiple components or other senior delivery roles that are product and outcome-focused.
- Successfully executed the delivery of complex initiatives involving multiple functional areas, technologies, and ways of working, criticality of systems involved, and considerable levels of change and uniqueness.
- Experience in leading a team, including coaching, having difficult conversations, and providing feedback.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in delivering Agile and Hybrid Waterfall.
- Ability to guide and mentor members of the Delivery and Portfolio team.
- High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of business intelligence and analytics applications within corporate environments.
- Good understanding of retail domain.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, including Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, and Databricks.
- Excellent strategic thinking with commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and strong communication skills.
- Formal Project Management accreditation, e.g., Diploma of PM, CPPM/Reg PM, PMP, PRINCE.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience (desirable).
- Demonstrated awareness in applicable IT project management processes.
- Exposure to agile tools and techniques.
- Comfortable in resolving conflict and able to facilitate discussion on alternatives and different approaches.
