About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Commercial Technology division at Coles Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of master data management, including application development projects from inception through to service transition and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of Business Analysts, Senior Business Managers, and Project/Program Managers to deliver large-scale, complex mission-critical IT systems.
  • Develop and implement IT strategy and architecture to ensure alignment with company strategic objectives.
  • Manage senior stakeholder communications during releases and in significant outage/service level impact situations to enable key recovery decisions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the wider IT community in relation to application technology for assigned business areas.
  • Drive successful IT/business outcomes in a cost-effective and timely manner.
About You

You will be an experienced and proven people leader with a track record of managing large and complex projects in an enterprise environment. You will have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also have experience managing relationships with senior management teams, department and project budgets, and negotiating with third-party suppliers.

You will be able to communicate key delivery and transition risks effectively to IT and business stakeholders, and manage senior stakeholder communications during releases and in significant outage/service level impact situations. You will also have experience in IT strategy and architecture delivery, and ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives.

You will be able to collaborate with stakeholders to achieve outcomes, and have a deep understanding of technology in a retail environment. You will also have experience in managing teams in a dynamic project environment, and with a mix of permanent, contractor, outsourced, and offshore teams with different commercial arrangements.
