About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Science Educator and Researcher to contribute to the delivery and development of our Medical Science programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching within the Medical Science discipline, including delivering lectures, tutorials, laboratories and practical sessions, coordinating units, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and tutoring students in Medical Science subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology and pharmacology.
  • Developing and implementing innovative curricula to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Coordinating units and managing teaching resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of courses.
  • Engaging with industry partners to enhance clinical placements and student outcomes.
Requirements
  • A doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline.
  • Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education).
  • Understanding of higher education issues and the ability to collaborate effectively across the institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches.
