Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Science Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Medical Science discipline.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline, with a doctoral qualification or equivalent. They will also possess excellent teaching and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

In addition to teaching, you will be expected to contribute to research initiatives within the School and engage with industry partners to enhance clinical placements and student outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline.
  • Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education).
  • Understanding of higher education issues and the ability to collaborate effectively across the institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches.
  • A strong research record, including publications, with the capacity to contribute to the School's research initiatives.
