Procurement Specialist Job Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist with solid construction industry experience and a proactive approach. You'll be confident in managing subcontractor claims and payments, preparing and negotiating contracts, and supporting both construction and design teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

  • Preparing, negotiating, and administering subcontracts, variations, and progress claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing project costs, budgets, and cash flow, including forecasting and tender analysis.
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support project delivery and resolve issues.
  • Reviewing and processing invoices, payments, and accruals in line with the Security of Payments Act and company procedures.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Procurement Specialist or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience in all stages of procurement management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, supplier management, claims/variations management, completion and close out.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Current c-class driver's license.

About the role:

  • Maintaining procurement records, reports, and financial systems (including Viewpoint) to support project performance and compliance.

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce, or equivalent.
