We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to assist in our hospitality team on a casual basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively serving patient, doctor and staff meals with particular attention to patient dietary needs, and assisting with function catering at a consistently high standard and within HACCP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required
- Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture
Requirements:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Working with Children check
- Two years' experience in a similar role within a Hospital or Aged care environment
- Completed Basic Food Handling Training (or working towards)
- Certificate III in Hospitality (or working towards)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Commitment to service excellence
- Strong communication and customer skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Availability for a variety of shifts & on call shifts
