We are seeking an experienced Mechanical trade qualified Shutdown Coordinator to join our team at South Flank. This is a permanent position based on an 8/6 days only roster FIFO from Perth.
The Shutdown Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating shutdown activities across the fixed plants during planning, scheduling, and execution to provide a safe and efficient shutdown service.
About the Role
- Create, deliver, and enable key BHP practices and lead in progressing the way we work as a team.
- Guiding, coaching, and mentoring team members to deliver on plan and build a high-performing team.
- Accepting accountability for the performance of the team by ensuring quality of tasks, services, and advice to the operation and asset functions.
- Maintaining a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to validate and challenge scope, including preparation requirements, isolation requirements, and maintenance activities.
- Development of shutdown management plans inclusive of traffic management, interaction maps, organisational charts, and shutdown risk assessments.
Requirements
- Minimum of C class manual driver's license.
- Strong task planning skills, including 1SAP and coordination of 3rd party inputs.
- Strong practical hands-on skills in Mechanical maintenance associated with Fixed Plant Equipment.
- Experience in the execution, project management, and planning fields highly advantageous.
- Ability to work within a team and develop relationships.
