Job Overview:

The Electrical Superintendent role is a key position in our organization, responsible for overseeing and guiding the electrical discipline. This includes ensuring that construction meets specifications and schedules.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead ES&H initiatives within the electrical department
  • Implement safety protocols
  • Closely monitor site conditions and practices to address any breaches
  • Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work habits with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor
  • Promote a ZERO Accident Philosophy
  • Maintain compliance with Bechtel and local/national safety standards
  • Monitor craft activities to ensure adherence to specifications and schedules
  • Oversee cost, schedule, and optimization of craft labor and equipment
  • Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training programs
  • Review and manage craft time records using established automated tools
  • Approve subcontractor equipment/personnel mobilization and demobilization
  • Implement corporate project policies, procedures, and instructions within assigned electrical operations
  • Coordinate established area operational plans

This role requires extensive walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, scaffolding, elevated platforms, and working in small or confined spaces during field inspections.
