Reliable Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Gunnedah on a 5/2 roster, primarily supporting construction projects across the region. As a Field Service Fitter, you will be based out of our Gunnedah Workshop but spend most of your time working between multiple customer sites ensuring the reliability of our machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and mechanical maintenance services on various construction machinery
  • Attend to production breakdowns and undertake diagnostic work
  • Liaise with technical support staff for efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements
  • Complete and submit relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
  • Maintain good relationships with customers, peers, and other departments
  • Identify continuous improvements within your area of responsibility
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade certificate
  • Intermediate PC skills and ability to analyze technical data and reports
  • Good communication skills
  • Safety focus and adherence to site safety processes
  • Ability to adapt to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with internal and external stakeholders
