Operations Management Position

Job Summary:

This role focuses on leading and developing staff to achieve set objectives, ensuring a safe working environment, and optimizing site performance.

  • Maintaining Zero Harm culture within the work area
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing control strategies
  • Minimizing Lost Time Injuries (LTIs), High Exposure Incidents (HEIs), and environmental incidents
  • Issuing work permits and conducting site inductions for attendees
  • Achieving operational availability of 99% at Yarranlea Solar Farm
  • Scheduling inspections and testing as required
  • Determining condition-based maintenance needs and scheduling work accordingly
  • Collaborating with technical staff to address solar plant performance gaps promptly
  • Managing site resources and reporting issues affecting delivery
  • Ensuring accurate accounting of labour and materials provided by service providers
  • Processing invoices efficiently and minimizing work-in-progress
  • Scheduling, approving, and executing tasks to meet or exceed performance guarantees
  • Managing spare parts inventory and replenishing as necessary
  • Improving contract management processes and quality standards
  • Monitoring and controlling resource requirements to meet business needs
  • Identifying skill gaps and recommending training or recruitment
  • Contributing to the development of Risen Energy Australia
  • Managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for job tracking and asset maintenance planning
  • Prioritizing, scheduling, and supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Creating asset maintenance plans in CMMS
  • Submitting Operations and Administration (OA) requests and tracking funds in procurement systems
  • Scheduling preventive maintenance and supporting floor activities as needed
  • Providing training on CMMS utilization
  • Fostering collaboration with network roles to share best practices and optimize parts storage
