Risk Management Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and executing our enterprise risk management practices and activities, ensuring the development, maintenance, and verification of risk information to support informed decision-making and management reporting.
Main Responsibilities:- Facilitate risk management workshops, reviews, and assessments to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to the organization.
- Support the coordination of Operational Risk Committee and Audit, Corporate Risk Committee, and Risk Management Committee meeting requirements.
- Develop and maintain risk profiles and management plans to ensure effective risk management.
- Support the business in developing, maintaining, and testing Business Continuity Plans (Resumption and Recovery) and Management processes for critical functions and assets.
- Conduct periodic analysis and reporting on incident event data to support risk profile analysis and management interventions.
- Verify and validate risk information recorded in the Corporate Risk Management System (Database) and associated reporting.
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a strong background in risk management and governance. The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a risk management or audit management position, preferably in the resources, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of enterprise risk management methodology, processes, and tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust.
- Ability to develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
