Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Maths/Science Teacher to join our team at Columba Catholic College, Charters Towers. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2021.

This role involves teaching Biology, Junior Science, and Junior Maths to students in a supportive and collaborative learning environment. As a member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to parents and guardians
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant teaching qualification or be currently working towards one
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Biology, Junior Science, and Junior Maths
  • Established knowledge of curriculum initiatives and pedagogical practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
