A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Trainee to join a multidisciplinary team in the Medical Oncology Department at a major hospital. As a member of this team, you will be involved in all aspects of patient care, including assessment, treatment decisions, procedures, and medical record-keeping.
This position offers a unique chance to develop your skills and expertise in medical practice in a complex clinical environment. You will work under appropriate supervision, adopting a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to your experience. The role is accredited for one year non-core training with potential for partial core-training accreditation.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, ability to convey and adapt verbal and written information to both clinical and non-clinical audiences, and high-level independent clinical skills and judgment. You will also have the ability to make sound decisions, problem-solve, and demonstrate commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
We are looking for an individual who is committed to further education and practice in Medical Oncology, with a demonstrated interest in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training.
