Water Treatment Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating and maintaining Council's wastewater and recycled water treatment plant facilities.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for training and mentoring trainees, as well as working constructively with the team to achieve goals and objectives.

To Be Successful You Will Bring
  • A strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment operations, including adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • A Certificate III in Water Industry Treatment or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising and training staff.
