Job Title: Tree Maintenance Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Tree Maintenance Team Member.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the upkeep and management of trees across various locations. Your duties will include pruning, removal, and travel tower work (EWP), as well as operating a chipper and stump removal equipment.

You will be working in a close-knit team with a strong customer focus, undertaking scheduled maintenance and reactive work. If you have a passion for the environment and working outdoors, we encourage you to apply, as we will provide training for those without prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tree maintenance/replacement works as required, including tree pruning/removal, small plant maintenance, chainsaw operation, and pruning from EWP close to power lines and at ground level.
  • Drive and maintain heavy equipment, including trailer-mounted machines, light trucks, and tip-trucks.
  • Assist in instructing and guiding tradespeople.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Driver's Licence (willing to obtain MR)
  • Interest in tree management/maintenance
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Ability to work safely and promote safety in the workplace
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Experience dealing with customers, clients, and members of the general public
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
