About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tree Management Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety and integrity of our network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assurance activities, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with our Electric Line Clearance Management Plan and relevant regulations.

This position involves working closely with external suppliers and stakeholders to provide expert input into the development, implementation, and review of our Hazardous Tree Management Program.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular tree assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and damage to our assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of tree management programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on tree management activities, including assessments, inspections, and mitigation work.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Arboriculture (ACF Level 5) or equivalent qualification.
  • Cert II ESI Powerline Vegetation Control or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in coordinating inspections and mitigation programs for Electric Line Clearance.
  • Strong understanding of relevant industry standards, Australian legislation, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data management systems, GIS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
