Health and Environmental Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Health and Environmental Specialist. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Support leaders in implementing safety standards and promoting a Target Zero culture.
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct, manage and report on all incident investigations, including the development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Procedure Development: Develop procedures and documentation related to health and safety, conduct regular audits of processes and systems, and assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Wellbeing Initiatives: Drive and support health and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
  • Travel Requirements: Maintain a regular travel schedule to engage with employees.
  • Legislative Updates: Monitor applicable legislative changes and communicate them to the network.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in a similar role or industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in health, safety and environment (HSE).
  • Able to regularly travel for work-related purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.

This role requires a high level of motivation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
