Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated retail professional to provide an exceptional shopping experience for guests and island travelers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing point-of-sale, arranging store merchandising, serving coffee, and fueling travelers setting off on adventures across the island's sandtracks.

  • Maintain high retail standards
  • Keep a neat and tidy store
  • Create a positive team environment

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent customer experiences
  • Show a "team player" attitude
  • Prior experience in retail is essential
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of cash handling, opening/closing procedures
  • Merchandising skills are desirable
  • Hold a valid Food Handling Certificate or have the ability to obtain one
  • Hold a valid Queensland RSA or have the ability to obtain one

Working Conditions:

  • This is a permanent part-time position
  • Up to 76 hours per fortnight
