Cyber Operations Graduate Role

As a Cyber Operations Graduate, you will be responsible for supporting the Cyber Security team's efforts to secure and monitor Helia's technology platforms against cyber threats.

You will assist with project initiatives and incident response preparation activities across the Cyber Security team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Cyber Operations team to complete BAU cyber security activities, operate and administer security tooling and monitoring platforms, and assist in issue resolution.
  • Identify and recommend tooling and control improvements to continually improve Helia's cyber security posture.
  • Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and promote cyber security awareness.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the continuing improvement of Helia's cyber security posture.

Qualifications

  • A university graduate with a passion for process, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, logical with unwavering attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and actively seeking opportunities to grow.
  • Ability to balance an outcomes orientation with appropriate risk measures.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, with limited supervision.
