Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow B. This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher to work on fundamental machine learning research projects aligned with our centre's themes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with programming experience in Python, C++, or other relevant languages. They will also have strong mathematical capability, especially in areas related to machine learning, and demonstrable knowledge in deep learning and one or more of the following: transformer networks, implicit neural functions, graph neural networks, and/or probabilistic graphical models; and causal inference.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in machine learning and computer vision, with a focus on cross-cutting responsible AI research.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms and models for various tasks, such as image classification, object detection, segmentation, and generation.
  • Develop and maintain software tools and infrastructure to support research activities.
  • Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and workshops.
  • Participate in peer review processes for top-tier conferences and journals.
