Infrastructure Project Lead Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Project Lead to join our team. As an Infrastructure Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.

  • You will oversee all lifecycle stages of infrastructure projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Your role will involve ensuring procurement activities comply with relevant rules and regulations.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through proactive engagement.
  • Project documentation and reporting will be managed in line with established standards.
  • You will deliver projects on time and within budget, focusing on risk management and continuous improvement.
  • You will oversee handover/takeover (HOTO) processes and ensure timely project closeout.
  • Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Construction Management).
  • A current Baseline Security Clearance or ability to maintain one.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally within the Defence or Government sector.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
