Life Insurance Underwriter Opportunity

A transformative role awaits As a senior underwriter, you will be part of our retail life insurance team.

You will develop and maintain relationships with key advisers, while effectively managing a designated adviser panel. You will collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical advice and support, ensuring that underwriting standards and service level agreements are applied to all cases received, applications, and pre-assessments.

This is a full-time role, but we are open to the role being part-time. The role can be based in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key advisers
  • Manage a designated adviser panel
  • Provide technical advice and support to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance underwriting
  • High-level individual underwriting authorities
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Customer-focused mindset with a solutions-driven approach
  • Completion of medical terminology course
  • ANZIIF and ALUCA CPLI certifications desired
