Principal Economic Advisor

The role of the Senior Consultant entails leading and contributing to the delivery of high-quality economic advisory services. Key responsibilities encompass leading small to medium-sized projects from inception to completion, supporting technical leads on complex projects and proposals, and contributing to the preparation of reports and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads the delivery of small to medium-sized economic advisory projects
- Supports the technical lead on complex projects and proposals
- Contributes to the preparation of reports and deliverables
The ideal candidate will possess a background in economics, experience in the Water sector, and strong technical foundations in economic analysis, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory advice, and policy evaluation. They will also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong research and analytical capabilities, and well-developed customer service skills.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in economic advisory, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a growth mindset, and be willing to learn and improve expertise. They will also provide support to the wider team on projects and demonstrate a commitment to the company's values of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
