We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Tamworth, NSW.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with The Benevolent Society, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live their best lives. Our dedicated team provides a range of services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, to help clients develop the skills and strategies they need to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized plans to address these needs.
  • Deliver occupational therapy services, including home and community visits, to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Liaise with medical and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $103,000 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging options. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with physical and intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Honesty and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the values and principles of The Benevolent Society.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
