Disability Support Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Tamworth, NSW.
About the RoleAs an Occupational Therapist with The Benevolent Society, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live their best lives. Our dedicated team provides a range of services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, to help clients develop the skills and strategies they need to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized plans to address these needs.
- Deliver occupational therapy services, including home and community visits, to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Liaise with medical and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices in occupational therapy.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $103,000 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging options. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with physical and intellectual disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Honesty and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the values and principles of The Benevolent Society.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
