Our organisation is seeking a skilled Business Insights Specialist to join our Assurance team. This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business, contribute to the development and execution of the annual audit plan, and lead end-to-end audits that are aligned with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to identify business-relevant insights and support value-added initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the annual audit plan, ensuring it aligns with our organisational goals.
- Lead and deliver high-quality audits that provide actionable recommendations to drive business improvement.
- Oversee work program development, scope assessment, and ensure quality execution.
- Conduct special, investigative, and confidential reviews as needed, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout.
- Analyse data to identify trends, assess risks to business objectives, and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
- Communicate complex findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, using clear and concise language.
- Guide and support team members, including performance evaluation and training, to enhance their skills and abilities.
- Ensure timely closure of findings and follow-up on action plans, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain professional standards, adhering to industry best practices and promoting ongoing education and professional development within the team.
- Travel to operational locations across Australasia, as required, to support engagement activities and collaborate with colleagues.
