We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our engineering team as Mechanical Apprentices.

About the Role

This 4-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in mechanical engineering.

You will undertake nationally accredited training, complete onsite work placements, and receive mentorship and support from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical with a fitter and machinist focus
  • Gaining hands-on experience in the defence industry, focusing on nuclear-powered submarine, naval shipbuilding, and sustainment enterprises
  • Developing problem-solving skills, manual dexterity, and basic computer literacy and numeracy
