**Role:** Health, Safety and Wellbeing Program Manager

**Overview**

Talenza is seeking a seasoned health, safety and wellbeing professional to develop, implement and continuously improve comprehensive health, safety and wellbeing programs.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide expert guidance on incident management, risk assessments and return-to-work strategies to ensure a resilient and safe work environment aligned with Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigation and resolution processes, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough safety audits, identify hazards and implement risk reduction strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Design and manage programs to support employee reintegration post-injury, promoting a culture of care and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance WHS systems, ensuring ongoing alignment with emerging needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report WHS legislative compliance, proposing improvements as necessary to maintain a strong safety record.
  • Facilitate WHS and wellbeing training initiatives to elevate workforce knowledge and engagement, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

**Requirements**

  • Demonstrated expertise in WHS legislation, risk assessment methodologies and incident management.
  • Proven experience in safety audits, return-to-work planning and WHS training, with a track record of success in improving workplace safety.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, WHS or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $66,400 - $73,180 per annum + superannuation
