Job Description:

This role involves working closely with the software engineering team to design, develop, and test complex software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. The ideal candidate will work within the team to support clients' project objectives and be responsible for tasks such as product refinement, architectural decisions, brainstorming sessions, proof-of-concept implementations, and expressing themselves clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support product refinement by creating tickets and analyzing development work.
  • Foster collaboration and understanding of architectural decisions made by the team.
  • Engage in discussions to propose innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Analyze adoption and release barriers to entry for software products and technology.
  • Promote cross-team collaboration focused on end-to-end solutions and supporting go-live activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years experience/proficiency or combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of software design principles, development tools, technologies (languages, frameworks, etc.), and domains used.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Experience with web application development.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a professional manner.
  • Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools like Git.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Knockout, etc.
  • Agile software development experience.
