Senior Application Developer / Implementation Specialist – Melbourne (hybrid).

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Application / Implementation Expert to provide solution and integration configuration and development services for the CAD project delivery team within a customer site. This role is based in Melbourne and offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Deliver software implementation and development services to an agile project team.
• Manage and implement all parts of the SDLC including ongoing support of the delivered solution.
• Implement and deliver fit-for-purpose software and process documentation in accordance with specifications.
• Participate in customer integration and design workshops to enable requirement collection and validation.
• Manage and deliver software fixes and releases against varying SLAs across multiple sites and managed services.
• Think outside the box to enhance key team processes.

Essential Requirements and Experience

• Knowledge of modern architectural principles and methods.
• Deep level of understanding in software development technologies.
• .Net Core development experience or understanding.
• Proficient in a delivery team using agile methodologies, tooling and processes.
• Experience in delivering highly available, high resilience, mission-critical systems.
• CI/CD experience.
• Worked within an agile software delivery team at a senior level.
• Experience in data migration and integration development.
• Experience in all SDLC facets including support.
• Worked in a service delivery environment (ITIL).
• Autonomous in delivery.

Highly Desirable

• Azure DevOps pipelines
• JIRA/Confluence experience
• Experience in a Public Safety environment.
• Configuration, Release, Change and Environment management
• Incident and Defect management
