Student Wellbeing Services Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our student wellbeing services, providing strategic direction and expertise to support the mental health and wellbeing of students.
- This is a pivotal role in developing and implementing student wellbeing strategies and programs through a team of qualified counsellors and welfare officers.
- The successful candidate will drive cultural change by building positive relationships and networks within and external to the Institute.
- They will provide authoritative mental health information, advice and direction to stakeholders.
- To structure the operations of the counselling and welfare teams to support the achievement of Institute objectives.
- To develop and manage the implementation of student wellbeing strategies and programs.
- To drive cultural change and develop positive relationships and networks.
- To provide authoritative mental health information and advice.
- Post-graduate qualifications in psychology or counselling, or related mental health discipline.
- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA), or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
- Currently working towards or registered as a Clinical Supervisor.
