Medical Science Liaison Opportunity

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join our team in QLD, working with a leading global biotech company specializing in immunology.

  • This is a newly created role with a focus on rare diseases, providing a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field and previous experience in medical affairs or as an MSL within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building strong partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in neurology, immunology, and rare diseases.
  • Leading pre-launch engagement and supporting the local execution of medical strategy in QLD.
  • Representing the company at major scientific conferences and engaging with clinical trial sites.
  • Using evidence-based communication to build advocacy and influence external decision-makers.
  • Bringing external insights back into the business to help shape go-to-market strategies.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (postgraduate qualifications are a plus).
  • Previous experience in medical affairs or as an MSL within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Therapeutic experience or interest in rare disease, neurology, immunology, rheumatology, or haematology.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior clinical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable, hands-on approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
