Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Scrub/Scout Team in providing exceptional perioperative nursing care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the initiation, planning, design, implementation, management, and evaluation of the unit/wards at our facility. They will also liaise with all Hospital Services to facilitate the ongoing development of unit-based activities and resources that influence the continual development and maintenance of standards of safe practice and the delivery of comprehensive and cost-effective nursing care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current Practising Certificate with no restrictions
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in the Scrub/Scout area
  • Demonstrated experience in resource and cost management
  • Experience in human management principles, including rostering, performance management, and team development
  • A desire to work as part of a team committed to exceptional clinical care standards and embrace change management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Improvement practices
