Job Title: Production Geologist

Our team is seeking an experienced and skilled Production Geologist to contribute to the success of our operations. As a key member of our geoscience team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality subsurface reservoir characterisation and contributing to technical analyses and recommendations.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Technical Analysis and Recommendations

Conduct thorough and accurate geological analysis to inform well delivery and abandonment operations. Provide expert advice on static subsurface reservoir characterisation, ensuring accurate and reliable prognoses.

Geoscience Skills

Develop and maintain geoscientific expertise in areas including reservoir characterisation, lithostratigraphic well correlations, and static reservoir modelling. Foster collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications

Petrel software skills are highly valued. Demonstrated experience in coding, such as Python, is also preferred. A collaborative mindset and experience in delivering integrated multi-disciplinary technical work are essential.

Requirements

A degree in Geological Sciences is required. Strong geoscience skills covering Reservoir Characterisation, Lithostratigraphic Well Correlations, and Static Reservoir Modelling are essential. Familiarity with CSG developments, volumetric estimation, well planning and delivery (new and P&A wells), and knowledge of Well, Reservoir and Facility Management (WRFM) are desirable.
