About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to join our Database Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing critical applications, mentoring other developers in database solutions, and advising business owners on strategic database direction and application solution design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-performance database applications using Oracle RDBMS and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in database solutions and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business owners to develop strategic database direction and application solution design.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends, including NoSQL databases.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Advanced PL/SQL development skills and experience with Oracle RDBMS 19c or later.
  • Excellent Linux and scripting skills, with experience in high-volume Oracle enterprise databases.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and ability to discuss their mechanisms and usage.
  • Development team management and Agile software development experience.
