About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Orderly to join our team in the Day Surgery Unit at Gold Coast Private Hospital on a casual basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our unit.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide patient assistance and transfers throughout the Day Surgery Unit, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
  2. Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning beds, organizing linen, restocking equipment, and managing waste.
  3. Ensure the availability of clean linen and operate in line with WHS policies and procedures.
  4. Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, clients, and patients, cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment.
  5. Work collaboratively as an active team member to support all work tasks and contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
  6. Utilize strong attention to detail and prioritize tasks effectively, with minimal supervision.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  8. Meet the requirements for vaccination and serology records prior to commencement and hold a valid Working with Children check.
