Key Role in Development Assessment:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Development Planner. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and assessment of Development Applications (DAs) in accordance with legislative requirements and regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to applicants, residents, and other stakeholders through the provision of expert advice on relevant processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Deliver evidence and appear as an expert witness on behalf of the Council in the Land and Environment Court and Local Court.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree qualifications in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local government and environmental legislation.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
