Finance Transformation Expert

We seek an accomplished Senior Accountant to drive finance excellence in Melbourne. As a seasoned professional, you will empower Australian businesses, not-for-profits, and governments to create value and enhance their operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead clients through comprehensive finance transformations by streamlining processes and fostering effective business partnerships.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client financial reporting requirements, controls, and processes, then execute bespoke reviews and reports with your expert insights.
  • Design and implement robust control frameworks, optimising financial reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assist clients in maximising their finance functions through digital transformation and management reporting modernisation.
  • Nurture trusted relationships and identify opportunities to support clients' unique objectives.
About You:

You possess 3-7 years of experience in audit, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), ERP Implementations, project cost accounting, or financial accounting. Proficiency in assessing, designing, and implementing improvements to finance processes is essential. Familiarity with US reporting and listing requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act implementation requirements, is advantageous but not mandatory.

A CA or CPA certification, combined with a solid understanding of general finance and accounting principles, is desired. Passionate about driving change, you are ready to help our Assurance team tackle complex issues, improve system efficiency, and provide confidence in key decisions.
