Grounds and Gardens Maintenance Position

We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Gardens Maintenance professional to join our team at Dooralong Transformation Centre. This is a permanent, part-time position based in Dooralong, NSW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, gardens, and surrounds of the centre, ensuring they remain safe and well-maintained. This role requires a high level of physical fitness and energy to respond to the demands of the work.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role or relevant experience to the site
  • A First Aid certificate
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge across all key areas of competence in general maintenance
  • Sound knowledge in the use of gardening equipment and maintenance
  • Time management skills with regard to planning ahead for equipment requirements and work arrangements
  • The ability to plan and prioritise work effectively to achieve projected goals
  • The ability to show initiative and recognise tasks which need to be carried out without prompting
  • Sensitivity to the needs of residents
