Mine Trainer

Cadia, a Newmont Mining operation, is located in Central Western New South Wales and is currently recruiting for a Mine Trainer role. This position is responsible for providing training and assessment to employees to ensure the safe delivery of strategic site objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage the adoption of Safety Programs and Newmont Values to foster positive communication and assistance among employees.
• Conduct hands-on underground training using approved documentation.
• Update training and assessment materials to reflect any changes or updates.
• Analyze training gaps in current role descriptions and identify areas that require training using the training learning management system.
• Carry out inductions to personnel as required, following designated induction days.

Requirements:

• Qualified with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Experience in development mining/development underground or heavy industry, preferably mining.
• Previous experience with Learning Management Systems, preferably Success Factors.
• An accredited ticket in High-Risk areas such as Working at Heights.
• A manual driver's license is compulsory.
