Position Overview

PHSA is on the lookout for a qualified Rehabilitation Counsellor or Registered Psychologist to provide vocational rehabilitation services primarily within the NSW Workers Compensation and Comcare frameworks, focusing on Same Employer initiatives.

The key responsibilities of this position include conducting Worksite Assessments, engaging in Case Conferencing with healthcare providers, preparing clients for Work Readiness, facilitating Workplace Discussions, and performing Vocational Assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or
  • Full membership with ASORC or RCAA
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical or workplace rehabilitation environments
  • Experience in Same Employer services and managing complex psychological injuries
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
