Job Title: Histocompatibility Laboratory Director

The role of the Histocompatibility Laboratory Director is pivotal in advancing the operations of the HLA laboratory. This position reports directly to the Senior Laboratory Director and plays a key part in developing Comprehensive Testing Systems, Achieving Established Turnaround Times (TAT), and Leading Special Projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership in Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance systems, achieve established turnaround times, and lead special projects.
  • Driving Innovation: Spearhead research initiatives that advance the fields of immunogenetics and histocompatibility.
  • Clinical Expertise: Review and oversee clinical reports, continuously develop professional skills, and provide leadership in staff development and continuing education.
  • Operational Leadership: Establish and refine laboratory policies, business development, client engagement, and support for laboratory leadership continuity.

As a seasoned expert in histocompatibility and immunogenetics, this individual will be responsible for driving innovation, leading teams, and ensuring the highest level of quality in laboratory operations.
