Rac is seeking an experienced light vehicle mechanic to perform routine maintenance and services. The ideal candidate should have formal automotive technology trade qualification or apprenticeship, post-apprenticeship experience as a qualified mechanic, strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent technical skills and tool proficiency, commitment to outstanding customer service, valid driver's license, clean driving record and Australian work rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles using diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and services
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow strict safety procedures

Requirements

  • Formal Automotive Technology Trade qualification or apprenticeship
  • Post-apprenticeship experience as a qualified Mechanic
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems
  • Excellent technical skills and tool proficiency
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
