We are seeking a highly organized and customer-centric professional to join our team as a Hearing Care Assistant.

This part-time role involves working 7 days per fortnight (Monday - Friday in week 1, Monday and Friday in week 2). The ideal candidate will be compassionate, process-oriented, and purpose-driven, with excellent organizational and customer service skills to help more people access better hearing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Clinicians and Clinic Coordinators to deliver quality hearing healthcare outcomes.
  • Learn about our products, services, competitive advantages, and government funding programs.
  • Support during hearing appointments will include video otoscopy, tympanometry, equipment placement for air and bone conduction, and speech testing.
  • Facilitate device demonstrations and tests, manage equipment and IT for video conferencing, and assist with hearing aid fitting, minor repairs, and troubleshooting.

You will implement tailored client-specific sales strategies to ensure optimal solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous sales and/or customer service experience in hearing care services, pharmacy, or allied health.
  • Experience working with an older demographic is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and empathy for clients.
  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or TAFE Qualification.
  • Advanced computer skills.
