Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate and manage maintenance activities to ensure compliance with site health, safety, and environment policies.
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving sessions to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including equipment specifications, maintenance history, and parts inventory.
- Utilize maintenance management software to ensure accurate and efficient data recording and reporting.
- Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules and optimize preventative maintenance compliance.
- Generate detailed reports on maintenance activities, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and compliance with safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field in maintenance management or reliability engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in contractor management and predictive/preventative maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate maintenance staff and contractors.
- High level of attention to detail to ensure all maintenance activities are performed accurately and safely.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
