Perioperative Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled perioperative nurse to join our team at a busy hospital.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation.
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care that ensures the best possible outcome for patients.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensure patient and staff safety through proactive risk management.
- Supervise and direct nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Proactively assess and evaluate perioperative nursing care to identify areas for improvement.
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with local and national policies.
Responsibilities include caring for patients with cardiac conditions such as heart failure, chest pain, and arrhythmias.
Key Requirements:- Current registration with AHPRA with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably in a cardiac ward.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
