This exciting opportunity exists within a dynamic Surgical Services Suite:

• Classification range: RN ANUM Year 1 - Year 2 (YW11 - YW12).

The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced perioperative nurse who possesses strong leadership and management skills. You will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to the surgical team, ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the surgical team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve perioperative care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Providing educational programs and workshops to enhance staff knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in perioperative nursing.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Knowledge and commitment to quality improvement principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
