We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Governance Lead to join our team at Coles. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in information security and assurance to drive business value across the organization.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for leading our Information Security Control Assurance Program, ensuring the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls across the organization. You will design and execute comprehensive control assurance programs, develop key process and procedural documentation, review and test the design and operating effectiveness of controls, and analyze test results to identify root causes of control deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute control assurance plans to assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their processes and control frameworks, providing guidance and education on best practices for control design and implementation.
  • Analyze test results to identify root causes of control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Design and implement control testing activities to verify the effectiveness of implemented controls.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in information security and assurance, with experience leading control assurance programs. You should have practical hands-on experience developing and executing control assurance programs, including awareness of control design principles, attributes, and testing requirements.
